I’m planning to take a road trip through the northeastern part of the USA sometime soon. I’ve never been there before and I’m really excited! What would be the best time of year to plan a trip like this?
is the summer travel season, ie May, June, July, and August. Because northern New England can get a little cold (and really snowy!) during the winter, visiting in the summer is preferable if you want nice hiking, sailing, swimming, or walking weather. To avoid the tourist crowds, though, skip big weekends like Labor Day, the Fourth of July, and Memorial Day if possible.
It can also be nice to visit the northeastern US during early fall. This area of the US gets beautiful fall foliage, so taking a trip to the east coast in September, October, or even early November can be enjoyable in completely different ways than a summer road trip.
Regardless of when you take your trip, you’ll want to make sure that you have a good car insurance policy in place. The car insurance super app
