What is the best time to visit Santa Fe?
So I’m hoping to visit New Mexico this year, but I’m not sure when to go. When’s the best time to visit Santa Fe?

While it’s technically always a great time to visit Santa Fe, try heading to
New Mexico
between September through November. This is just after the area’s peak tourist season and temperatures are usually still comfortable.You’ll find temperatures ranging from the 20s through the high 70s, though the mercury will rarely drop below the mid-40s or rise higher than 80 degrees.
As for what to do in Santa Fe? There’s plenty beyond enjoying the Pueblo-style architecture, vibrant artistic scene, and incredible Southwestern cuisine the area is known for.
You can check out the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Festival which occurs every September, and head to nearby Albuquerque for the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival for 9 days of balloon-filled skies—it celebrates its 50th year in 2022.
Of course, if you visit closer to December, you might get a chance to ski Southwest style at Ski Santa Fe. It’s known for incredible alpine skiing and snowboarding just 20 minutes from downtown Santa Fe.
