Oh, gosh. So sorry to hear about your great aunt. The best route from Connecticut to Florida is to take I-95 S most of the way. The drive is a long one, though—it’ll take roughly 20 hours, so if you don’t have that kind of time, you might want to fly!
Here’s the route broken down in a bit more detail:
- Merge onto CT-8 S
- Keep left to stay on I-95 S, then keep following signs for I-95 S. You’ll be off and on this highway for the full stretch of your road trip!
- Eventually, take I-4 W and US-27 S
