The best oil filter for a
Ford
6.7 diesel truck is an OE (Original Equipment) Motorcraft filter.
Make sure you purchase a filter that says 6.7L to ensure it’s the right size for your vehicle.
Other than that, make sure you change the oil every 10,000 miles (or whenever you’re notified by the Intelligent Oil Life Monitor system). Use 10W-30 oil for standard driving conditions and switch to 5W-40 when you’re putting your truck through more extreme driving conditions.
Generally speaking, OE (Original Equipment) parts are the gold standard if you need to replace anything. But you can usually find a suitable aftermarket part that will perform well if you want to save some money.
Once you’re done maintaining your truck, now might be a good time to make sure you’re happy with your
car insurance
situation. Did you know you only need the minimum required coverage in your state? Use the
