What is the base price for a 2004 Golf TDI?
How much can I get for my 2004 Golf TDI? I don’t really drive it anymore so I was planning to trade it in and get my daughter a new car—but if it won’t be worth a lot then I’ll just sell it to a scrapyard or something.

is about $2,425 for the average trade-in. However, the condition of your vehicle will make a big difference in the amount of money that you’re offered for your car.- If your car is in bad shape (what is called a rough trade-in), the base price will be around $1,725
- If your car is in decent shape, you can expect an average base price of $2,425
- If your car is in excellent shape (what is called a clean trade-in), the base price will be around $3,000
