“There are a number of factors that can influence your wait times with a roadside assistance provider. If you’re requesting service during a busy time, like during a snowstorm, you may have to wait significantly longer. Requesting service outside a city may also impact wait times.
Most roadside assistance providers will update you with estimated arrival times through text or a mobile app. Many also have systems in place in case your wait time is unreasonable. Companies may offer to reimburse you for towing or other expenses if the wait time is too long with them.
While there isn’t a standard amount of time to wait, most service provides aim to help a customer within an hour.”
