What is the AARP military discount on car insurance?
I’m a veteran of the armed forces and I want to take advantage of any discounts I can get on various products. I constantly get mail and email from the AARP, so I’m wondering if they can help me save money. Does the AARP offer military discounts on car insurance?

itself does not offer military discounts on car insurance, simply because AARP doesn’t offer car insurance
. AARP partners with The Hartford to provide car insurance to its members, but unfortunately, they don’t offer special discounts for active-duty military or veterans.However, AARP offers a 30% discount on AARP membership for active-duty military and veterans. You may want to do the math to see if the 30% discount on the AARP membership coupled with insurance from The Hartford is cheaper than insurance from another provider.
