The 2023 BMW X5
release date is soon! The SUV is expected to be released in the U.S. in the late summer or early fall of 2022. Here’s some extra X5 intel to share with Dieter about the 2023 BMW X5 as he recovers from his unfortunate bout of German measles.
The Bavarian automaker will release five variants of the X5—one rear-wheel drive version and four all-wheel drive models, one of which is a plug-in hybrid and two are from BMW’s M Sport division:
SDrive40i

: $63,900, AWD, 3.0L inline-6 cylinder engine, 335 hp, 331 lb-ft torqueXDrive45e: $65,700, AWD, 3.0L inline-6 cylinder engine + electric motor, 389 hp, 443 lb-ft torque

M
: $108,900, AWD, 4.4L V8 engine, 523 hp, 553 lb-ft torque
All X5 models will feature 8-speed automatic transmissions. The amount of power varies depending on which variant Dieter can get his hands on, but the base X5 will go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a quick 5.3 seconds.
The top M trim covers the same ground faster than uncle Dieter can scarf down a bratwurst—just 3.8 seconds. The X5 M also has a top speed of 155 mph.
Bottom line—whichever type of X5 Dieter settles on, be sure he protects his prized automobile with a robust car insurance
policy by using Jerry. The average Jerry
user saves more than $800 per year on car insurance!
