What is the 2020 Nissan Altima oil type?

I have a 2020 Nissan Altima. When I bought the car, the dealer offered free oil changes for two years. Now that that’s over, I’m going to change the oil myself to save a few bucks—what oil type do I need for a 2020 Nissan Altima?

Changing the oil on your own is a great way to save money and keep your car performing well. So if you want to change the oil in your ride, the 2020
Nissan Altima
’s oil type is either 0W-20 or 5W-30 depending on what you have under the hood:
  • If you have a 2.5-liter Altima, use 0W-20 full synthetic motor oil. You will need 5.1 quarts to do a proper oil change.
  • If you have the 2.0-liter turbo, use 5W-30 full synthetic motor oil. To complete an oil change, you will need five quarts of motor oil.
While you can save hundreds of dollars over the life of a car by changing the oil, you can save even more if you regularly compare car insurance quotes. To make the job quick and painless, download the
