What is the 2017 Nissan Versa oil type?

My son just bought a 2017 Nissan Versa for his first car. I’m proud of him for paying for it on his own, but he’s very open about how little he knows about car maintenance. As such, I thought I’d show him how to change the oil. What oil type do I need for the 2017 Nissan Versa?

Paying for a car on your own isn’t easy, so kudos to your son. The 2017
Nissan Versa
oil type is SAE 5W-30. Alternatively, you can also use SAE 10W-30 for a single oil change, but make sure to switch back to SAE 5W-30 on the subsequent oil change.
To complete the oil change, you’re going to need 3.7 quarts of motor oil. Full synthetic is preferred, but a synthetic blend or conventional oil will also work.
Teaching your kids about car maintenance is a crucial skill they can use later in life, but so is teaching them about shopping around for car insurance. By suggesting the
