oil type is either SAE 5W-20 or SAE 5W-30. The specific type you’ll need depends on what engine you have under the hood. Here’s a quick breakdown of the oil type for all four engines:- 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine: 5W-20, 4.3-quart capacity
- 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine: 5W-30, 5.7-quart capacity
- 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine: 5W-20, 5.7-quart capacity
- 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6: 5W-30, 6-quart capacity
