What is the 2016 Scion iA oil type?

I just bought a used 2016 Scion iA and I want to be sure I have some oil on hand since I don’t know how quickly the engine burns through oil. What kind should I buy?

Congrats on the big purchase!
The 2016
Scion iA
uses 0W-20 motor oil. The oil cap in your engine should indicate what type of oil your car needs—or you can find it in the owner’s manual for the car.
You’ll have to choose between conventional or synthetic oil. Conventional is cheaper but less healthy for your engine, and requires more frequent changes. We recommend synthetic oil since it’s all around better for your engine, and you won’t need to change it quite as frequently.
