What is the 2015 Subaru Outback oil type?

I just bought a 2015 Subaru Outback. To save money on the cost of ownership, I’m going to do all the maintenance on my own, including oil changes. What type of oil do I need for a 2015 Subaru Outback?

If you want to do an oil change on your own, the 2015
Subaru Outback
requires SAE 0W-20 fully synthetic oil type. This is the oil recommended by the manufacturer, although you could use a blend of conventional oil to save more money. To complete the job, you’re going to need 5.1 quarts of motor oil.
The main difference between a blend or conventional versus full synthetic boils down to price and performance. While full-synthetic is more expensive, it provides better fuel economy and overall performance, as well as up to 7,500 miles between oil changes. With a blend of conventional oil, you’re looking at about 5,000 miles between oil changes.
Regardless of what oil you decide to put in your 2015 Subaru Outback, you can still save some extra money by comparing car insurance policies through the
