What is the 2014 RAM 1500 ticking noise recall?
I drove my 2014 RAM 1500 off the lot, so when I started to hear a ticking noise, I got pretty concerned. But before I go a little crazy, I thought I’d check for a recall. Does the 2014 RAM 1500 have any recalls that may have resulted in a ticking noise?

The 2014 RAM 1500 ticking noise may have several recalls that would amend the problem, including:
- Fuel pump recall #22V406000, which may allow debris to enter the fuel system and ultimately cause a ticking problem and added damage.
- Engine cooling recall #19V757000, which may cause vaporized coolant to enter the exhaust system and potentially create a ticking noise.
- Diesel engine recall #20V475000, which results in the crankshaft sensor wheel delaminating, creating incorrect fuel injector pulses that may cause a problem. Keep in mind that this is only for 2014 RAM 1500s with the 3.0-liter turbodiesel under the hood.
