What is the 2007 Honda Civic Si’s 0 to 60 time?

I’m a huge fan of the Civic Si, so I’m thinking of getting a 2007, since it was the first one sold in North America. But some of my friends are giving me grief about it since it’s 15 years old and its 0-60 time doesn’t stand up. What’s the 2007’s 0 to 60 time, and is it still competitive?

Hey, the first Si on American soil might be a teenager, but that doesn’t mean it’s lost or is lacking in any of the zest that makes the Civic one of the most popular cars in the country. And if your friends think that the ‘07 can’t keep up with the Civics of today, they’re sorely mistaken.
When the 2007 Civic Si was first released, testers, car enthusiasts, and automotive websites all concluded that it could go from 0 to 60 in 6.9 seconds. Just to compare, the 2022 Si has a 0 to 60 speed of 6.8. This means it took fifteen years to push the new Civics a whole tenth of a second faster than the ‘07.
So get that Civic Si, and drive it with pride. But bear in mind that Civics, especially ones from the 90s and early aughts,
are frequently stolen
, precisely because they were so desirable. So keep yours protected with comprehensive
