What is the 2006 Mustang GT 0 to 60 time?

I feel like Mustangs have been getting a bad reputation in recent years. My friends argue with me about it, but I still think Mustangs are great cars, and they’re still fast. I’ve been wanting a used one, and I found a 2006 GT. What’s the 0-60 time on that, so I can show my friends what’s up?

Mustangs have been getting a bad rap, and that’s likely because they saw a string of absolute lemons, particularly in the late 90s and early aughts. While the 2006 base Mustang isn’t popular among pony enthusiasts, the GT at least offered some salvation.
With a
proper V8
under its hood rather than that V6 nonsense Ford kept trying to sell, the 2006 Mustang GT had a 0 to 60 time of 5.6 seconds. And that’s quick, even 16 years later. So tell your friends that the Mustang may be many things, but slow it most certainly is not.
