What is the 1997 Honda Passport’s oil type?

Does the 1997 Honda Passport take synthetic oil, or do I need to buy a new container of oil for my daughter’s car? She’s asking for help topping off her oil but I don’t know much about her car.

The 1997
Honda Passport’s
oil type is 5W-30 grade synthetic motor oil. You can purchase this type of oil at most gas stations and auto parts stores.
Make sure to get the right type of oil for your daughter’s car, though, as using the wrong oil grade can seriously damage your engine—sometimes beyond repair. If you’re unsure about the type of oil you’re buying, don’t hesitate to ask for help!
