What is Honda’s paint warranty?

I’m looking into purchasing a new Honda. A website I was reading mentioned a paint warranty. Can you tell me a little more about this?

Absolutely!
Honda’s
 paint warranty was recently extended to seven years. It only applies to vehicles with known paint defects.
If your paint begins chipping or peeling, contact an authorized Honda dealer. You may be able to have your vehicle partially or even completely repainted at no charge.
The Honda paint warranty only covers defective factory paint jobs. It does not cover scratches or collision damage. You’ll need to pay for those yourself unless your car insurance covers it.
