What is front end service?
The other day, my cousin said something about taking her SUV in for front end service. What is front end service?

Great question! Most likely, she was talking about having her SUV’s front end repaired or aligned. Over time, a vehicle’s steering and suspension components become worn, especially if you regularly travel over rough roads with potholes and other problems. Replacing worn shocks and struts (and other parts) will help correct problems, as will a front end wheel alignment.
Car repair terms can be confusing, but it’s important to research what they mean—especially if your mechanic is recommending a costly repair you don’t fully understand!
