policy, SAIP, or special automotive insurance policy, was created to insure that low-income drivers don’t forego insurance. It is only available to Medicaid recipients.
While SAIP provides limited medical coverage, it is not a substitute for a standard auto insurance policy and does not meet the
state minimum car insurance
