What is covered under my Nissan warranty?

What kinds of things will my Nissan warranty pay for? I need to take my car to the shop but I’m nervous because I don’t have the money. I’m hopeful that my warranty might cover part of the bill.

A standard Nissan warranty will cover:
  • Powertrain
  • Corrosion
  • Towing
  • Adjustment
  • Refrigerant Recharge
  • Any other basic issues (as long as they are non-cosmetic and not related to an accident, standard maintenance, or wear and tear)
If you want more coverage than that, you’ll need to opt for one of Nissan’s extended warranty options. These types of warranties will protect you if you run into more serious problems with your new car.
If you’re not sure that your warranty will cover the repairs you need, you might need to start saving in other ways.
