What is Considered Verifiable Driving Experience?
I’m looking into jobs as a truck driver, but a lot of the postings I’m seeing are looking for verifiable driving experience. How do I prove I have driving experience? What exactly is verifiable driving experience, and is it any different from day-to-day driving?

You might be thinking that “driving experience” just means however many years you’ve had your license. But like so many things in life, it’s not quite that simple.
When we’re talking about verifiable driving experience for employment, it refers to commercial driving experience. It’s the driving experience you’ve had on the clock that you or your employer logged. And if this is your first job, don’t worry — many trucking companies consider the driving you did as part of your CDL certification as verifiable driving experience.
You can refer to that driving experience on your résumé, but keep in mind that a prospective employer will be able to verify via background check. They may check your DOT record, your DAC record, and your
driving record
