What is considered reckless driving in N.C.?

Can I get a reckless driving charge for speeding in N.C.? I just moved and I don’t really understand the reckless driving laws here. What exactly is reckless driving?

North Carolina, like many other states, is fairly ambiguous when it comes to reckless driving laws. Driving with a disregard for the safety, rights, and well-being of others is considered reckless driving in N.C., but there is no specific speed or behavior that is designated as reckless.
Typically, going over 75 MPH will be enough to earn you a reckless driving charge. You’ll also be charged with reckless driving if you are driving 15 MPH over the speed limit of 55 MPH or less.
As the speed limit increases, you’re more likely to get a reckless driving ticket rather than a speeding ticket for driving over the posted limit. As a rule of thumb, try to stay within 5 MPH of the speed limit at all times.
While you’re adjusting to your new home state, you’ll need to adjust your insurance policy too. The
