What is considered reckless driving in CT?

What will get you a reckless driving charge in CT? I can’t find information about what reckless driving actually is, just what the consequences are.

Reckless driving can be a little confusing since it can be defined in so many ways. In
Connecticut
law, reckless driving includes the following behaviors:
  • Driving recklessly with reference to the width of the street, traffic, weather conditions, etc.
  • Driving at a speed that endangers another person, including passengers, pedestrians, and other drivers
  • Driving over 85 mph
  • Driving any commercially registered vehicle with a downgrade without engaging the clutch or gears
  • Knowingly driving or otherwise operating a vehicle with a defective mechanism
Reckless driving has a pretty broad definition, so this is somewhat up to the interpretation of Connecticut law enforcement and/or a judge.
