Your vehicle’s throttle body sits between your air intake and engine manifold and controls how much airflow is allowed into your engine. Over time, especially if you don’t replace your air filter frequently, dirt and gunk can clog up your throttle body and cause airflow issues in your engine.
Here are the common signs of a bad or failing throttle body:
Acceleration issues
Lower vehicle performance
High or low idling
Poor gas mileage
Electrical issues
Check Engine Light comes on
