I recently purchased a new Honda, and the sales representative said something about a drivetrain warranty. I’m not much of a gearhead. Could you explain what a drivetrain warranty is?

lasts for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.The warranty actually covers the entire powertrain, which is essentially the assembly of mechanical parts that propels your vehicle forward. Key components include your engine, driveshaft, transmission, axles, and differential. A powertrain warranty will cover the repair or replacement of all parts associated with these systems.
Your new Honda also came with a 36-month, 36,000-mile limited warranty. That warranty covers bumper-to-bumper repairs on components outside your powertrain.
