There are a few available engine types for the 2015 Silverado. The engine in your car will determine its oil capacity.
Here’s a breakdown of each engine type and the amount of oil required:
  • EcoTec3 4.3L V6 engine—6 quarts
  • 6.0L V6 engine—6 quarts
  • 6.0L V8 Gaseous engine—6 quarts
  • EcoTec3 5.3L V8 engine—8 quarts
  • EcoTec3 6.2L V8 engine—8 quarts
  • 6.6L V8 Diesel engine—10 quarts
