What happens if you get into an accident with Zipcar?

Do I have car insurance if I get into an accident? I just purchased a membership with Zipcar and want to make sure I'm covered with them.

“Borrowing someone’s car and getting into an accident is a worst case scenario. Thankfully, if you’re a member of Zipcar, you have car insurance through the company. Zipcar offers drivers liability insurance, which will help cover damages if you’re at fault in an accident.
Typically, Zipcar has policies that meet the state minimum car insurance requirements. In some states, you may be eligible to purchase additional liability insurance. The additional insurance can provide you with up to $300,000 of coverage.
Zipcar also offers some collision coverage or damage coverage to protect their vehicles, but it requires the driver to meet a $1,000 deductible before the coverage will kick in.
If you decide you’d like additional insurance coverage, consider purchasing a non-owners policy. A non-owner policy will extend coverage to any vehicle you drive.
If you’d like help finding insurance, use Jerry. If you call or text Jerry, a friendly and knowledgeable agent can help you find the perfect policy at the lowest price.”
