What happens if you get into an accident in Tennessee on a suspended license?

Will he still face consequences for driving on his suspended license? My husband had his license suspended for a DUI. We recently got into an accident (the other driver was at fault).

“In Tennessee, a driver who is suspended due to a DUI and is caught operating a vehicle can be convicted of a class B misdemeanor. If convicted, the penalty is two days to six months in jail and a possible fine of up to $1,000.
Even if the accident wasn’t your husband’s fault, it’s likely he will face a conviction for driving on a suspended license. You can also expect your car insurance rates to change as a result of the accident.”
