What happens if the other driver denies fault in an accident?

If the other driver keeps denying fault, will they not pay for my repairs or medical bills? I was in an accident with my motorcycle where another driver swerved and hit me. It's pretty clear it was their fault, but at the scene of accident, the other driving was saying it wasn't.

“Fortunately for you, it’s not really up to the other driver to determine fault.
Using police reports from the accident ands the information that you provide, your insurance and the other driver’s
car insurance company
will work together to assign fault (usually as a percentage).
Your input is as important as is the other drivers in determining
fault
, but no one person alone has the power to assign damages.”
