What happens if my SR-22 car insurance lapses?
What happens if I let my SR-22 car insurance lapse? I recently lost my job and I'm not sure if I can afford my car insurance. I also have an SR-22 endorsement.

“If you let your car insurance lapse and you have an SR-22, the results can be devastating.
Some states will revoke your registration or suspend your license. Others will levy a sizable fine on you for failing to have it.
Contact your car insurance provider immediately to find out what to do if you might not be able to pay your insurance premium.”
