What happens if my electric MINI runs out of juice, can I get a regular tow?

"If my EV runs out of batter, what should I do? New job, big paycheck, so I treated myself to a new car! I am super excited about my new electric MINI Coop, but I am a little nervous. I have never had an electric car before, and I'm worried I will get stuck somewhere."

“Don’t worry! Having an EV run out of battery power is just like a typical car running out of gas. You will slowly come to a stop and that is it. If this happens to you, call for a tow and they can bring you to the nearest charging location or back home.
It may be a good idea to do a Google Maps search for “EV Charging Stations,” or you can even download an EV charging app like PlugShare, ChargePoint, or EVGO. Some apps even send a reminder to your phone for when it is time to recharge your car.
A few years ago,
AAA
had mobile charging tow trucks, but they have since been decommissioned. With the popularity of EV here to stay, AAA is looking to get them back on the road.”
