What happens if I get in an accident and my Pontiac is totaled but I still owe money on it?
"The accident was my fault and I still owe money on the car. Will my collision insurance cover me?"
“Yes, your collision car insurance should cover the damages to your car, minus your deductible, as long as the car can be repaired.
If the insurance company considers the car a total loss, then you will be compensated according to the market value of your car. If you have a lien on it, and the money the insurance company pays out is less than the money you owe then you will be responsible for the remainder unless you have gap insurance.”

Why is my car insurance so expensive on my new vehicle?
I recently purchased a new Kia Sportage with a loan. Due to the high cost, my boyfriend offered to add me to his insurance. Our insurance is still $300 a month and it's not dropping. What can we do?
