What features does a Subaru WRX interior have?
I’m seriously contemplating buying the new Subaru WRX. I have an Outback already and owning a sports car would be rad! But what is the Subaru WRX interior really like? What sort of features does it have?

, a car designed from the ground up for serious drivers with an impressive road and rally racing pedigree.Compared to the
Outback
, the Subaru WRX interior is modern and stylish, but also dialed back and simplified. The 2022 model shares the same oversized 11.6-inch touchscreen as newer Outbacks, but otherwise there’s little flash here. And that’s intentional. Rather than the fancy streamlining you’ll find in most other Subarus, the WRX emphasizes form over function. The interior is laid out intuitively to minimize the driver’s effort, so their focus can be put where it needs to be: on the road getting pummeled by the subie’s 271 horses.
The new WRX has surprisingly comfortable seating, which wasn’t always true in older models of the rex.
Long road trips
will be easy-peasy in the WRX, even for backseat passengers, and the racing-style D-shaped steering wheel gives the driver that little extra bit of legroom, too.Cargo-wise, the WRX will feel significantly smaller than your Outback, though that’s to be expected. You only get a paltry 12.5 cubic feet of storage here, which is small for its class and might put a damper on those aforementioned lengthy road trips.
