What engine is in a Porsche Cayenne?

Does the Porsche Cayenne have a good engine? Sometimes I think luxury brands disguise subpar engines with fancy features and sleek interiors, so I want to make sure I’m actually getting my money’s worth if I buy a Cayenne.

For 2022, the base engine in a
Porsche Cayenne
is a 355-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged V6.
However, there are a lot of trim options for the Cayenne, some of which provide significantly more powerful engines. The Cayenne Turbo, for example, is equipped with a 541-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
While you’re right that luxury brands are typically able to charge more for their vehicles, the Porsche Cayenne performs very well—even without any upgrades. If you’re looking for a luxury vehicle with ample trim options, a luxe interior, and a powerful engine, the Cayenne is a great choice.
