What engine is in a GMC Yukon?
I’m not sure what kind of engine my car has, but I want to go camping with my partner and I think my car is the more reliable of our two cars. Is the GMC Yukon good for towing?

The base model GMC Yukon has a 5.3-liter V8 engine that can achieve 355 horsepower. If you’d like, though, you can upgrade to a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine with 277 horsepower or to a
6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 horsepower.
Even with the base model, though, the GMC Yukon has a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds. If you have the diesel model, you can also tow about 7,500 pounds with your car. If you have the 6.2L V8 engine, you’ll be able to tow about 7,900 pounds.
Regardless of which model you have, you’ll probably be able to tow a small camper with your car. However, you should still check the tow weight of anything you’re planning to bring before attaching it to your vehicle.
