What engine is in a Ford Mustang GT?

I’m a Mustang lover, and I’m trying to decide which one has the most power. What type of engine is in the Ford Mustang GT? Is it the same as in the regular Ford Mustang, or is it a different type of engine to make it faster?

If you buy a
Ford Mustang GT
from 2015 or later, it will have a Coyote 5.0L V8 engine. This is because all Mustang GT models will have a V8 engine, which is something that sets the GT apart from the classic Mustang.
While there are add-ons available to upgrade the standard Mustang’s V6 engine to be more powerful, even the base model GT will come with a V8 engine.
In short, yes, the Mustang GT is faster than the standard Mustang on average. While the 2022 V6 Mustang has a top speed of 155 MPH, the 2022 GT models can reach a speed of 180 MPH. If you want an even faster Mustang, the 2014 and 2015 Shelby GT500 has a top speed of over 200 MPH.
