The standard 2020 Ford Expedition comes with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. It has 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque and can be upgraded to 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque if you choose the Platinum trim option. That said, the Ford Expedition has a top speed of just 120 MPH, which is slower than its competition.
For comparison, most cars have a top speed between 140 and 160 MPH, so the Expedition does fall below average in that category. The Expedition also has a 0 to 60 time of seven seconds, meaning it takes a while to accelerate, too.
If you’re looking for speed and acceleration, the Expedition probably isn’t for you. However, it’s still a reliable vehicle with lots of great attributes, so it’s worth giving it a test drive before you dismiss it entirely!
