What does the Toyota 5-year warranty cover?

I’m shopping around for a new car, and the warranty is one of the main selling points. Toyota seems like its warranty is on par with other companies, but I just want to know what’s covered. What’s covered by the Toyota 5-year warranty?

The Toyota 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty covers all components related to your car’s powertrain system. More specifically, this warranty pays for malfunctions or damage to your engine, transmission, and drivetrain that are directly due to poor workmanship or a manufacturer defect.
Note that the warranty does not pay for general wear and tear or maintenance.
While the Toyota 5-year warranty will cover many components, you may come across a time down the road when you have to pay for repairs out of pocket. That’s what makes lowering your
