100k-mile warranty, also known as the powertrain warranty, covers everything that’s required to make the car move. More specifically, this warranty covers:- Axles
- Drivetrain (front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive systems)
- Transmission (automatic or manual)
- Engine
If any of these parts fail within 10 years or 100,000 miles—whichever comes first—as a result of a manufacturer’s defect, Hyundai will make the repairs for free. However, if Hyundai deems that the damage was the result of normal wear and tear, you’re going to have to pay out of pocket.
