What does the Hyundai 100k-mile warranty cover?

I’ve read that Hyundai has one of the best warranties in the industry, including the basic and powertrain warranties. While I found some information on the basic warranty, I wasn’t as successful on the powertrain warranty. What’s covered by the Hyundai 100k-mile powertrain warranty?

You’re right—Hyundai’s warranty is one of the best on offer! The
Hyundai
100k-mile warranty, also known as the powertrain warranty, covers everything that’s required to make the car move. More specifically, this warranty covers:
  • Axles
  • Drivetrain (front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive systems)
  • Transmission (automatic or manual)
  • Engine
If any of these parts fail within 10 years or 100,000 miles—whichever comes first—as a result of a manufacturer’s defect, Hyundai will make the repairs for free. However, if Hyundai deems that the damage was the result of normal wear and tear, you’re going to have to pay out of pocket.
That’s why creating a car repair fund is such a smart idea. If you’re searching for ways to start saving, make a quick trip to the
