What does the Hyundai 10 year warranty cover?

I’ve had my Hyundai Santa Fe for seven years now and it’s having some engine issues. Is this something my 10-year warranty will cover, or do I need to buckle up for an expensive repair?

Congrats on owning your
Santa Fe
for seven whole years—here’s to seven more years of car ownership! The
Hyundai
10 year warranty covers your vehicle’s powertrain, or the components that make the car go.
Components that are covered in a powertrain warranty include:
  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Driveshaft
  • Axles
  • Differential
Chances are, your engine issues are covered under your 10-year warranty following these guidelines. If your warranty doesn’t cover the issue, consider purchasing
mechanical breakdown insurance
. This type of coverage won’t cover wear and tear, but it’ll help you make repairs to an older car after its warranties have expired. If you need help updating your policy (and saving hundreds on
