What does the Honda certified pre-owned warranty cover?
My wife wants to get a used Honda Accord that’s less than 10 years old. I’ve heard good things about buying a certified used car because of the warranty that they offer. What does the Honda certified pre-owned warranty cover?

If you select a
Honda Accord
from model year 2017 or later, it could qualify for Honda’s
certified pre-owned vehicle warranty program.The Honda certified pre-owned warranty includes:
- 7-year, 100,000-mile powertrain coverage
- Roadside assistance
- Up to two complimentary oil changes
- A $0 repair deductible
There are two levels for the certified pre-owned warranty. The HondaTrue Certified+ warranty only covers 2021 or 2022 models that have been driven less than 12,000 miles since the original vehicle in-service date. They also must have been certified by Honda.
The HondaTrue Certified warranties cover 2017 to 2022 models that have been driven over 12,000 miles from the original in-service date.
With the HondaTrue Certified+ program, the vehicle comes with a five-year, 86,000-mile non-powertrain warranty. With the HondaTrue Certified program, your car could have a four-year, 48,000-mile non-powertrain warranty if it’s purchased within the new vehicle limited warranty period. If you buy the car outside of that period, Honda will apply a one-year, 10,000-mile non-powertrain warranty.
