The
Honda
bumper-to-bumper warranty offers limited coverage for almost every component of your car, except the powertrain, which is covered by its own warranty. The Honda factory warranty is good for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. It even includes a 24-hour roadside assistance program, which offers flat tire assistance, jumpstarting, towing, and more.
The bumper-to-bumper warranty covers your vehicle thoroughly—literally from nose to tail. However, it’s important to understand this coverage only applies to workmanship or material defects. That means if your car is damaged due to misuse, neglect, poor maintenance, a collision, or other incidents, the warranty won’t apply.
The Honda factory warranty covers so much that it’s actually easier to go over what it doesn’t cover, which includes:
- Improperly installed or maintained items on your car
- Damage from misuse or abuse
- Damage caused by acts of nature, improper fueling, or the usage of non-OEM equivalent fluids
- Vehicles modified with unauthorized parts or accessories
- Routine maintenance services
- Normal wear and tear
- Scratched or chipped glass or paint
- Tires (these are covered by a separate warranty)
