What does Mazda's powertrain warranty cover?

I just bought a brand new Mazda CX-5 a few months ago and the engine recently started to make a weird sound. If I take it to the dealership, will it be covered under the powertrain warranty?

Hearing an unfamiliar sound from your new car is never a good feeling! If you have a new
Mazda
, the Powertrain Limited Warranty covers defects in the powertrain components for up to 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The powertrain parts covered by warranty include the transmission, engine components, and most of the drivetrain, like the car’s axles and drive shafts. This warranty does not, however, cover regular maintenance, routine wear, or replacements due to normal usage.
No matter what brand of vehicle you drive,
car warranties
don’t cover damage from accidents, vandalism, or natural disasters—which is why you need a solid
