Axle codes tell you what type of differential and ratio you have. Your

’s axle code 39 means that you have a 3.55 non-limited-slip. This is a type of open single-wheel rear axle.
As you already know, you can find the information about your axle on the sticker located on the latch face of the left front door. In addition to axle info, it also tells you tons of other information about your vehicle, from the wheelbase to the transmission.
