What does Dodge warranty cover?

I recently bought a new Dodge, and I’ve started noticing some issues with the engine. Is this something that would be covered under warranty?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having engine issues with your new Dodge, but it’s likely they’ll be covered under your car’s 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. This warranty covers:
  • Costs of all parts and labor needed to repair a covered powertrain component
  • Towing to your nearest Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram dealer (if necessary)
Unlike many powertrain warranties, Dodge’s powertrain limited warranty is transferable, too, so if you sell your Dodge, the second owner gets to take advantage of any remaining warranty.
Now that you know your repairs will likely be covered under your warranty, you shouldn’t have any worries about how much they might cost to repair. Keep in mind, though, that your powertrain warranty won’t cover damages to your engine that occur during an accident. To make sure you’re covered for these types of damages, let the experts at
