What Does BMW ConnectedDrive Do?
I just bought a new BMW and the dealer said it comes with something called ConnectedDrive, but I can’t seem to figure out what that is, what it does, or how to turn it on?

Great question! Simply put,
BMW
ConnectedDrive is a phone app that integrates your phone, car, and smart home. The main thing that BMW ConnectedDrive does is it turns your smartphone into a digital key. Before you can use it, you’ll need to download the app. Once you have the phone app downloaded, you’ll need to enter your BMW’s VIN which should connect your phone and your car!
Keep in mind, due to the phasing out of 3G technology, some older model BMWs may no longer be able to support ConnectedDrive.
