What does a Mercedes-Benz warranty cover?
I’m taking over the payments for my brother’s 2021 Mercedes GLA 250 because he’s moving abroad and won't need a car. Since I wasn’t with him when he bought it, I didn’t get the full rundown of the warranty policy. What does it include?

warranty covers material or workmanship defects for all new Mercedes vehicles for the first 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty is known as Mercedes’ New Vehicle Limited Warranty and covers the car bumper-to-bumper. This warranty also includes the following:
- Powertrain protection
- Corrosion protection
- Roadside assistance
Note that damage resulting in using the wrong oil, oil filter, cleaners, or polishes is not covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. And for the warranty to be honored, you must do all repairs at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership.
