What documents do I need to present to Allstate in order to purchase insurance?
"What documents do I need to need to have handy for car insurance? I'm planning on getting a new policy, but I want to prepare everything I need ahead of time."
“When purchasing car insurance, you’ll need:
- your driver’s license information
- information on the vehicle you plan to insure
- your past insurance information (if you’re switching)
If other drivers are going to be driving the vehicle, you’ll need their information as well.
If you’re purchasing insurance in person, it’s a good idea to bring a voided check or your banking account information. It’s also helpful to know the average cost of insurance to see if you’re getting a good deal.”
