What do I do if my 2003 Honda Odyssey’s sliding door won’t open?
I’ve held onto my family’s 2003 Honda Odyssey, and it’s stayed strong over the years. However, the sliding doors recently started giving me issues, and I don’t know how to get them back on track. How can I get my sliding doors to work on my Odyssey?

Oh no! Sorry to hear your reliable ride is giving you a headache. Your 2003 Honda Odyssey’s doors may be off track because the door seal is too strong. There could also be an electrical wiring issue or a faulty sensor.
To take matters into your own hands, you could attempt a reset on the door system. Here’s how to do it:
- Close each door by hand
- Make sure the “MAIN” switch on the dashboard is set to “ON”
- Press and hold the top of the door switches until they both close
